Adam Burgoon is a Partner of KarpReilly. Adam is passionate about partnering with high potential breakout concepts. He has 17 years of experience investing alongside founders and management teams as they put in place the systems, infrastructure, and teams necessary to enable accelerated growth while simultaneously decreasing execution risk and increasing brand strength.

Adam’s current obsession is with increasing employee engagement and well-being. He is completing a Master in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania in an effort to adapt the most effective theories in Positive Psychology for use in high volume restaurant concepts.

In the restaurant space, Adam actively works with Café Zupas, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, and Eureka! American Craft. Previously he has worked with Café Rio Mexican Grill, Elephant Bar, Miller’s Ale House, Mimi’s Café, and Tommy Bahama. Outside of the restaurant space Adam actively works with five other branded consumer companies.

Adam holds a B.A. from Colgate University where he graduated summa cum laude with high honors in economics and a minor in philosophy.
