Todd S. Jones is Managing Director and Group Head, Franchise Finance of First Tennessee Bank. Mr. Jones joined the business in August 2016 and is responsible for leading the strategic planning, talent management, loan originations, portfolio management, and market intelligence efforts for the newly created Franchise Finance vertical.
Beginning in 2004, Mr. Jones spent 12 years in GE Capital’s Franchise Finance business in various capacities in sales, marketing, and capital markets, most recently serving as Senior Managing Director, Brand Management. He joined GE Capital Markets Services, Inc., in July 2000 and served as Senior Vice President-Securitization and Six Sigma Leader during his tenure.
Prior to joining GE Capital, Mr. Jones spent five years in the term and conduit securitization markets in various capacities with Wells Fargo Bank and Cargill Financial Services Corporation. He began his career as an audit professional for Arthur Andersen LLP, with an emphasis on the financial services sector.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in business with a major in accounting from the Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota).
