As Chief Operations Officer for RBM Restaurants, Stephen Van Note, operates eight New York City restaurants encompassing four brands: Sarabeth’s, Jane, Docks Oyster Bar and Spin Chicken Rotisserie. He is responsible for spearheading and overseeing the strategy development and execution of initiatives for multiple departments within the organization including; Operations, IT, Talent and Culture, Purchasing, Menu Innovation, Human Resources, Facilities, Brand Marketing and Communication.
Stephen leverages his business acumen and leadership experience to drive financial performance, create an enhanced guest experience, and a thriving organizational culture at all units throughout the RBM brands.
Prior to his role with RBM Restaurants, he was the Director of Operations for Palm Foods, a private equity food service management, consulting and investment firm. There, he was responsible for launching new concepts, overseeing acquisitions and investments, while heading operations.
Stephen has also successfully concepted, funded, launched, operated and profitably sold three independent restaurants.
