Stephen Eden is director of the Delaware North Culinary & Hospitality Council, an internal leadership group established in 2003 by the global hospitality company.
In his role, Eden provides overall leadership in planning and implementing key hospitality and culinary programs that support the strategy and mission of the Delaware North Culinary & Hospitality Council. The council provides a strategic framework that fosters and leverages Delaware North’s reputation of culinary and hospitality excellence, and supports the development and implementation of programs and standards that ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and service in both front- and back-of house operations.
Eden collaborates with culinary and hospitality leadership throughout Delaware North’s many lines of business. In addition, he manages the council’s compliance programs and its culinary and hospitality certification, and supports the company’s training, development, and recruitment initiatives. He also provides leadership on corporate events, including the annual Delaware North Food & Beverage Summit, which brings together culinarians from throughout the global organization for a week of collaborative learning and development.
Prior to moving into this role, Eden served as the director of corporate marketing communications. In this role he worked closely with Delaware North subsidiaries and clients on business development, marketing, communication and facility openings and special events.
Overall, Eden has more than 25 years of international experience in marketing, communications, brand development, and event management. He is involved in the community, serving as a member of Visit Buffalo Niagara’s Customer Advisory Council.
