Mike is a CIA graduate, class of 1997. Originally from Philadelphia, he worked as an Executive Chef in Rittenhouse Square. He followed his passion for bold, fresh flavors to Louisiana, where he lived and supervised restaurants in upper management for twelve years. Wanting to further his career, Mike became General Manager of McAlister’s Deli in Bossier City, LA. He was promoted to Area Director after two years of service. Coaching and teaching are rewarding to him, which made for a smooth transition into his next promotion at McAlister’s Deli. He is now the Senior Director of Training and Operations for McAlister’s Deli system. Creating new and innovative methods to reach end-users, and development of management team members has been his focus. Working very closely with Research and Development, he is a member of the Culinary Operations, and Unit Level Economics Franchise Committees. McAlister’s Deli corporate office was recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where Mike now resides. He enjoys fishing, boating, travel, gastronomy, and coaching youth sports.
