Mike Phalen is a managing director and head of Retail Investment Banking at Wells Fargo Securities. He joined the firm in 2008 and is based in Charlotte, NC.
Mike has more than 20 years of experience, primarily in investment banking, but also as a consumer industry executive. From 2004 through 2007, he served as chief financial officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Prior to that, Mike worked in the Consumer and Retail groups at CIBC and Deutsche Bank/Alex. Brown. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche.
Mike earned a B.S. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
