As Chief Strategy Officer, Joel is responsible for leading emerging analytics and data strategy discipline at RMS and serves as a strategic consultant for restaurant and retail brands.

Joel’s team has led the analysis for “The Future of Menu Design”, RMS’ comprehensive menu design research, in partnership with the University of South Florida’s newly opened Center for Marketing and Sales Innovations (CMSI). The research partnership allows the company to forge new territory in the area of menu navigation and consumer behavior to help clients operate effectively in the ever-changing landscape of online ordering and off-premise dining.”

He is currently completing a doctorate degree at the University of Florida, focusing on how people incorporate algorithms into their decision making. Prior to joining RMS in 2014, Joel spent 13 years in operational leadership roles at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd.
