Jessica Jackson currently serves as Director of Strategy and Innovation for Dine Brands, one of the world’s largest full-service dining companies and franchisor of Applebee’s Grill + Bar and IHOP, two of America’s most iconic and enduring brands.

In this position, Jessica is responsible for vendor selection, implementation of strategic growth initiatives, including virtual brands, and innovation. She is a pivotal part of the Strategy and Innovation team, serving as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing fast-paced projects and working through strategic growth initiatives from start to finish.

Jessica assumed this newly created position in September 2021. She joined Dine in 2016 working in the operations department for the Applebee’s brand as a Franchise Operations Director, where she led a team of field consultants. In 2018, Jackson joined the Applebee’s Development Team where she was instrumental in launching Applebee’s virtual brand Cosmic Wings, managing delivery service providers, and working on innovation projects.

Prior to joining Dine, she spent many years climbing the operations ladder, starting a hostess after high school. Over the years, Jessica worked every position in the restaurant across all “genres from fast food to fine dining. She made her way up to an Area Supervisor before eventually transitioning to the corporate level.

Jessica is currently the Co-Chair of Women@Dine, Dine Brands’ women-focused Team Member Resource Group, serves on the Board of Directors for Vacations for Warriors, and can be found volunteering lots of time to Helping Others Together charity.
