Jerry Morgan is CEO and president of Texas Roadhouse, Inc., which operators more than 650 restaurants in 49 states.
A 23-year veteran of Texas Roadhouse, Jerry has 35 years of total foodservice experience, including with Bennigan’s and Burger King.
His career with Texas Roadhouse began in 1997 as Managing Partner in Grand Prairie, Texas, which was the first in Texas. As a result of the team’s success, Jerry was named Managing Partner of the Year in 2001, which is the company’s highest recognition.
Jerry was promoted to Market Partner in 2001, where he oversaw and grew operations in Texas and Oklahoma. In 2014, he was awarded the Texas Roadhouse Legends Award and the following year Jerry was promoted to Regional Market Partner, where he oversaw more than 120 restaurants in 14 states.
Jerry was named President of Texas Roadhouse in 2020. He was promoted to CEO in March 2021 following the death of the company’s founder and CEO, Kent Taylor. In June of 2021, Jerry was named to the Texas Roadhouse Board of Directors.
