Ed McBride has spent 34 years in the restaurant industry. Starting with flipping burgers and delivering pizzas at 16, he combined his operational knowledge with his interests in technology to now being the head of IT for Dave's Hot Chicken, one of the fastest-growing QSR brands. Previously, with Smashburger, Ed implemented their first loyalty platform and online ordering platform, and is continuing his objective of a seamless guest experience through technology at DHC. He believes concentrating on letting technology 'work better for you' and keeping it unobtrusive to your guests will allow the best experiences for everyone.
