A passionate hospitality leader with 20+ years of experience in growing hospitality brands and nurturing successful partnerships in more than 70 countries around the world, Daniel del Olmo is the Founding Partner of The Passionality Group.

Founded in 2017, The Passionality Group is a strategic growth partner to iconic and emerging hospitality brands who share a genuine passion for authenticity and innovation while exhibiting meaningful potential for growth. Focused on growing its brand portfolio across two complementary verticals – Lifestyle food & beverage and experiential travel & lodging – it includes brands such as Uno Pizzeria & Grill; Wafels & Dinges; Vagabond Coffee Co.; V; Nighthawk; Paperboy; Easy's; Habitas; Elite Luxury Homes; The Phileas Club; and Hostel Fish.

Prior, Daniel was CEO of Disruptive Group, a 500-million-dollar subsidiary of lifestyle hospitality company sbe where he led an organization of 3,500 team members and was responsible for a 140-venue global portfolio of award-winning restaurant and nightlife brands including Umami Burger, The Bazaar by José Andrés, modern Japanese brand Katsuya, Mediterranean brand Cleo, Michael Schwartz’s Fi’lia, Hyde, Doheny Room, SKYBAR and more. 

Prior to Disruptive Group, Daniel was President of Dine Brands International, the holding company of Applebee's and IHOP and the world's largest full-service restaurant company, where he inspired over 10,000 team members globally and oversaw record growth with over 125 new restaurants and six new countries added during his tenure.

Daniel also held various executive roles with Wyndham Worldwide including Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Latin America, Senior Vice President of TRYP by Wyndham and Chief Performance Officer, as well as other leadership roles with Amadeus Global Travel Distribution and Melia Hotels International. 

He has been a recipient of several awards including Hotel News Now’ Hospitality Innovators’ Award; Wyndham's ‘WYN Together’ Chairman's Recognition; and the “Rising Star” Award by Travel Agent magazine three years in a row.

Daniel is a Belgian native, an active member of YPO and a board member of Pantomonium Productions, a non-profit theatre company aimed to entertain underprivileged children during the Holiday Season in New York City.

He speaks six languages, including Spanish, Dutch, French, Italian and Portuguese and graduated from the University of Hasselt, Belgium with a degree in Applied Economic Sciences and a Master of Business Administration.
