Barry joined Buffalo Wild Wings in August of 2017 and is charged with developing and executing the global supply chain strategic vision for our purchasing requirements of Food, Beverage, Paper, Distribution & Logistics, Equipment, Facilities, Image, and Services, as well as commodity risk management programs. Barry’s organizational structure has three direct reports and a total team of 22 responsible for well over $1.5B in annual spend.

Prior to joining Buffalo Wild Wings, Barry was Chief Supply Chain Officer for the Private Equity Firm FFL’s Cajun Operating Company, owner of the Church’s Chicken brand domestically, and Texas Chicken brand internationally, where he was responsible for all purchasing, distribution, and commodity risk management for more than 1,700 of the combined brands restaurants.

Before his stint with Cajun Operating, Mr. Barnett was President and Principal of Cooperative Purchasing and Supply Chain Services, a boutique supply chain and general business operations consulting entity, with an impressive global client list, focusing in the food service procurement and supply chain optimization arena.

Just before his time with Cooperative Purchasing & Supply Chain Services, Barry worked in the Burger King system for approx. 18 years. In his most recent job there, Barry was Vice President, Global Supply Chain, for Burger King Corporation where he was responsible for procurement and strategic oversight of Food, Packaging, Distribution, Quality Assurance, Image, Equipment & Facilities for Burger King’s 13,000 restaurants worldwide with a spend in access of $6B annually. His previous roles were with the Burger King system’s Restaurant Services, Inc. (RSI), the chain’s Independent Purchasing and Supply Chain Cooperative where he held various positions. The most notable positions included Director of Purchasing and Vice President of Purchasing.

Barry has served on many food service industry committees and is a frequent guest speaker and panelist on many of the industry’s conferences and is highly regarded by his peers in the food service industry as a supply chain expert.

Barry has a BBA in Business & Finance from the University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS.
