At GetUpside, Arman manages revenue operations for each of GetUpside’s business units, and leads acquisition and account management efforts related to GetUpside’s restaurant vertical.
In years prior, as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of A-Frame Ventures, Arman led all investment efforts, portfolio company creation and management, and partner services for businesses seeking to build operational excellence around growth, product, and marketing.
That experience was informed by his work with 11 Roniin (now BUILDERS VC), a platform Arman co-founded to build a better ecosystem that creates and invests in venture backed businesses. During his tenure he built 6 venture backed businesses and helped raise a 175$mm fund to invest in industry leading companies.
As SVP of Sales at Belly from 2011 to 2014, Arman scaled the team from 5 employees to 150, grew their network to over 7,500 paying merchants and 5 million users, and helped raise $35 million in investments from VC’s like Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, DAG Ventures and 7 Eleven Ventures.
These accomplishments were the result of expertise honed over time, during his experiences as CEO and CRO for companies like Pawngo, Belly, Builders.vc, A-Frame, Wodify, UpCity, GreatVet and Aptitude8.
Arman sits on numerous boards, and advises and mentors several startups seeking to profitably grow.
