Restaurant Business
The pandemic forced millions of restaurant workers out of the industry. Now, as restaurants rebuild, the need for people is greater than ever before. In fact, the industry is still faced with 800,000* unfilled jobs.
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) and its supporters are addressing the workforce challenge head-on with programs that attract, empower and advance. This year, the NRAEF launched Restaurants Advance, a new initiative to share how restaurants provide limitless job and career opportunities, play key roles in their communities and are the nation’s centerpiece for entrepreneurship for people from all backgrounds.
Join Rob Gifford, President of the NRAEF, and Susan Adzick, President of McLane Foodservice and Chair of the NRAEF Board of Trustees, as they address the industry’s growing workforce challenges and how to get involved with Restaurants Advance.

He guided Tim Hortons’ improvement while Popeyes ignited the chicken sandwich wars with the best new product introduction in modern industry history. Restaurant Business readers chose Cil to be the Restaurant Leader of the Year, and Cil will share his leadership strategies in an interview with Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Maze
